Can we bring pets?
Yes, but only on regular campsites. Not permitted in any rental cabin unit or buildings unless it’s a qualified service animal. non aggressive animals only .
Can I buy six flags tickets?
We no longer have discounted tickets but we recomend a season pass for the price of a day pass and parking and you can even get a special offer which includes the whole entire year of fun and thrills directly from six flags online and come camping more often
How many people per campsite?
1 family per campsite, with a maximum of six people per campsite and a maximum of 4 adults.
When can I check in?
For a regular campsite, check in time is at 12 noon. However, if you arrive early and your site is available, you are welcome to check in
What are rental check in and out times?
All rentals are to allow check in after 3 pm. Check out is 12 noon. If sites are available early, check in and late check outs are possible.
Are fireworks permitted in the park?
Although they are legal in the state of New Jersey, we prohibit them from being in the camping environment due to the leaves, and the amount of propane tanks on the premises
What time is quiet hour?
Quiet hour is between 10:30 PM and 8:30 AM. Be considerate for your neighbors, especially if setting up camp late in the evening.. No loud music at any time and all radios must be off at 10 pm
Do you accept Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts groups at your facilities?
Yes. We work hand-in-hand to accommodate boy and girl scout groups of all sizes.

We honor AAA, AARP, GOOD SAM ESCAPEES, FMCA MILITARY AND PASSPORT AMERICA
Do you have fishing on the premises?
No. There is no fishing at our property. However, less than a mile down the road there’s a freshly stocked trout stream as well as Lakewood lake just minutes away, with boat rentals paddleboats and some great cycling trails .
Do you have a convenience store?
Yes, we have a fully stocked convenience store with ice, firewood, snacks, sodas, cigarettes, and just about all your other camping needs.
What are your store hours?
Store hours vary on time of year, but generally in season it is open from 9 AM to 9 PM and later on weekends. There is always someone available to answer the phone in case of emergency, so don’t be afraid to call 732-363-4036.
What is the closest beach to your campground?
Belmar is the clostest beach to Tip Tam.
Are ATV's, golf carts, or dirt bikes allowed?
No, we do not. However we now allow electric scooters, electric bikes and all riders under the age of 18 are required to wear a helmet.
